Megyn Kelly Calls Donald Trump ‘Most Gullible’ President

Megyn Kelly, a former Fox News host, sharply criticized President Donald Trump. During the ongoing US-Iran war, she called him gullible and weak, saying he could be easily swayed. Kelly once backed Trump before he won re-election in 2024.

Kelly showed up on Piers Morgan Uncensored and hit back hard. She said Trump swallowed Netanyahu’s statements whole, believing every claim that Israel’s prime minister made. She also said that every former US. president had agreed Netanyahu couldn’t be trusted.

The Situation Room Confrontation

Kelly gestured straight to the key meeting in the White House Situation Room. She wondered how, at 79, Trump let Netanyahu take a seat opposite him as an equal, not at the head of the table, but off to the side. So she said the seating setup by itself showed a risky power imbalance.

Kelly says that the very next day, Trump was warned by his top advisers, among them the Joint Chiefs chairman, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and CIA director John Ratcliffe. They said Netanyahu’s intelligence was wrong and his goals couldn’t be achieved. Trump pressed on anyway.

“Too Weak. Too Gullible.”

Kelly blamed everyone without holding back.“That’s not to take agency away from the president, who was bamboozled,” she told Morgan. “I don’t know why he was too weak to say no. “Don’t think this strips the president of his responsibility,” she told Morgan, “he was clearly misled.” I can’t figure out why he couldn’t just say no.

Kelly blamed three people: Netanyahu, Senator Lindsey Graham, and conservative commentator Mark Levin. She insisted that the three men pushed the United States into a war it never had to fight.

Fury Over Truth Social Threats

Kelly didn’t just react to the war, she also blasted Trump’s social media behavior. Trump shared on Truth Social that Iran had until 8 p.m. ET, warning that “a whole civilization will die tonight.” The message angered many of his own MAGA supporters.

Kelly fired back on The Megyn Kelly Show, calling Trump’s actions “completely irresponsible and disgusting” in a profanity-laced rant. She snapped, “Why can’t he act like any regular person?”

Kelly said Trump’s negotiating style, threatening to kill civilians throughout a whole country, broke every moral rule. She asked straight out, “Is he Genghis Khan?”

Political Fallout for the GOP

Meanwhile, Kelly pushed her criticism far past foreign policy. She cautioned that Trump’s easy trust could end up hurting Republicans badly in the next midterm elections.“The GOP is going to lose midterms because he was too gullible,” she stated plainly.

Kelly said some of Trump’s choices might reflect the fact that he no longer has to worry about getting re-elected. She said he would deal with it differently if he were still running for office, and Republicans would be left to clean up the mess.

She voiced even deeper worries about staying loyal to the party. Kelly believes Trump probably doesn’t really care whether JD Vance or Marco Rubio wins the next presidency. She thought Trump wants to stay the one nobody can replace, convinced the GOP is nothing without him.

A Ceasefire But Criticism Remains

By Tuesday night, Trump backed down and agreed to a two-week ceasefire with Tehran, if Iran reopens the Strait of Hormuz. Still, Kelly wouldn’t back down.

Kelly’s outburst shows conservative anger rising as people criticize Trump’s Iran decisions. Other voices, like Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens, have also turned against the president and criticized him publicly.

Kelly’s blunt criticism has exposed a serious split inside Trump’s own conservative supporters. Because the ceasefire is still shaky, the political and strategic fallout keeps spreading, both inside the country and overseas.
